Hello friends.

How was your weekend? Lovely? I hope so. Mine was.

The weather in the Bay Area has been perfectly gorgeous lately (goodness I love spring), so on Saturday some friends and I took advantage of the sunshine and took the ferry over to Angel Island for a day hike.

{Here are a few shots from our trek across the Bay and our hike to the top of Mt. Livermore}

I honestly find it hard to believe that I live so close to the Golden Gate Bridge. Isn't it gorgeous?

It was super hot outside, but the ferry was FREEZING

There were amazing views of Sausalito and Tiburon

A lot of the trail looked like something out of the Secret Garden (Or, as Amanda said, Bridge to Terabithia)

I love how you can see the invidual main streets in downtown SF.

It was the perfect length hike--five miles total

We made it! The 360 degree views at the top were unbelievable.

Angel Island had the perfect little lawn for lounging in the sun after a good hike.

Sometimes I can’t even believe that I live somewhere so pretty. Everything looks like a postcard.

Happy Monday!
