{It doesn’t seem quite right to gush about anything other than the pizza at Little Star …
but this garlic bread…}
Honestly, some of the best garlic bread I’ve ever had.
It’s so simple … garlic roasted in olive oil until its soft and spreadable–the flavor mellowed out a bit, but still distinct and rich.
Freshly baked bread, still warm from the oven, steam pouring out of the loaf when you rip off a slice.
Creamy, flavorful butter that you hardly need to spread because it’s so soft.
Put a little sprinkle of salt and fresh parsley on top … Mmmm heaven.
The pizza is great, but I think the garlic bread alone is worth trekking over to the Mission or the Western Addition for.
{Although, this is ridiculously easy to make at home. But it’s never quite the same, you know?}
