New Year’s Eve 2010 was a pretty successful night.

Particularly for a gal who isn’t a big NYE fan.

We started off with a delicious {read: AMAZING} dinner with our friends Jessica and Billy.

Menu included: Brisket, homemade mac and cheese, turkey with cranberry sauce, brussel sprout hash, ham and spicy mustard, and a caprese salad of my own making.

Ridiculous. And a perfectly indulgent way to start off the night.

Then it was time to set of and meet some other friends for a closed event at Tope in North Beach, and countdown to 2011 together!








{For me, the New Year isn’t particularly special. I don’t really make New Year’s resolutions, expect anything grand to happen, or feel like I should be different when waking up the next day.

It’s just another day, you know? Marked off in the way that people have been measuring time for centuries.

But I do feel like it’s a good time to reflect on times past. I never know what to expect from the time that’s ahead of me, but I do know what lessons I can learn from the time that’s passed.}
