I love lighting.
It seems like a silly thing to say, but I feel like it makes all the difference in a room.
That being said, the current lighting situation in my apartment is the pits. We have a lovely old chandelier (I’m thinking it was part of the original building from the 30’s), but other than that, it’s pretty mundane.
Most of the lighting I look at for the magazine is depressingly out of my price range, but it’s still beautiful (and a girl can dream, can’t she?), so I did a mix of some of my faves with some cute and (relatively) affordable lighting that I love.
I love this industrial lighting. Lots of metal, hardware, and exposed bulbs. It's a little rough around the edges in some ways, which I like, but is classic enough to work well with a lot of different looks.

This is kind of unrealistic for my apartment, but I thought it was such a darling idea. It makes me tempted to replace our one chandelier...

I love when table lamps have a little twist. These are kind of girly too, which is always fun. Plus, how adorable is the teacup lamp?

Of course I had to include two things I could never afford, but am still obsessed with. Both of these have been in California Homes at one point, and I still daydream about them.
