A lot of people in San Francisco have “supporter” signs of some sort in their window:

I notice these things all the time, but I never really thought about them.

People put everything from Obama to Communism to Michael Jackson to I LOVE CATS posters in their windows.

When I saw this one the other day, I found myself thinking about the effect that these things have on people. No matter what the content, I usually find myself smiling at whatever someone has plastered on their window pane.

I think it’s kind of inspiring to see what people are passionate about. Even if it’s incredibly trivial, it’s still inspiring to see passion.

After I thought this, I ran back to snap a picture. The poster itself is nothing out of the ordinary, but I love what it represents. There are a lot of excuses to be down on life, and it’s refreshing to see hope…even in small doses.
